We take our little dog to the local park every day and he loves socialising with the other dogs. Most people are lovely and they generally control any bad doggie antics. This one dude however used to turn up to do his yoga poses in the middle of the park. He brought two dogs every time, and they were mongrels. While Dude was posing on one foot and getting all zen, the dogs would terrorise us, racing at us, barking and growing, bowling over our little dog and making him yelp in pain (they were sh

The first time it happened Dude called them off. The second time he didn't bother even when I yelled at him to control his dogs. The third time I called the local council to report him. They did try to help but by then the situation had ahem resolved itself lol

I saw him driving down the street one day in his van. It was hard to miss him with the dogs leaning out the window barking their heads off at my dog. The van was a bit unusual and therefore easy to recognise.

After that we banned the kids from the park if that van was there, for fear they would be attacked. Hubby & I avoided it too.

Hubby turned up at the park one day, saw no van so let out dog off leash to play. Dude turns up and the usual chaos unfolds while he gets all yoga- zen. The dogs did hurt our dog that day, he was limping for the rest of the day. Hubby got out of there pretty fast and as he left he passed the van (which was out of sight of Zen Dude). The

van had 4 lovely plump air-filled tyres on it so hubby in his genius liberated the air from 3 tyres and then walked home. The van was gone by that evening, we're not sure how. We didn't see Zen Dude back at the park again @

poopsparkle 17 hr. ago Good on your hubby. People like that are so annoying and We live on a very busy road where people often speed, and our dumbass neighbor would let her dog off the leash and just run to their car that was parked on the street.

One time we were on a walk and her dog was, as always, off the leash and ran up to us and our dog. He was trying to play, but kept darting in and out of the road and my dog was visibly uncomfortable. Our neighbor just stood there as cars came barreling her dog's way. So, I grabbed her dog by the collar and pulled it over to her.

She looked like I'd just slapped her dog in the face and said something like "Oh! No, don't hurt him." I just handed her dog to her, wordless, and have never seen him without a leash since. Leash your dogs, people!

randomusername 1919 10 hr. ago So thoughtful of your hubby to release that trapped air. Air deserves freedom too (in select circumstances like this one).

No_Sky_1829 OP. 1 hr. ago Some of them here do but most of our dogs parks double as sports grounds. They have signage saying it's a designated off leash area except when in use by the sports club (football, baseball etc). Everyone respects those rules because that's how people roll in Australia (mostly)
